The World’s 50 Best Restaurants has appointed Melbourne-based public relations specialists Hatching Communications as the company on record to handle all Australian media relations for the flagship event to be held at Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building on 5th April, 2017.
The star-studded, international event – described by food writer and restaurant critic Jill Dupleix as the “Olympic Games of food” – brings together world-leading chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers, media and influencers in celebration of the best in global gastronomy.
The World’s 50 Best appointment was the culmination of a string of wins by Hatching Communications across the tourism and hospitality industries in the latter half of 2016, among them Heilala Vanilla, the re-launch of Kingpin Bowling at Crown Melbourne and digital consultancy for Oakridge Wines in the Yarra Valley.
With expertise in the areas of tourism, luxury hotels, food and hospitality, the independent and integrated agency – Hatching Communications – will manage all media exclusives, invitations and award announcements on behalf of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants between December 2016 and April 2017.
