Plopsaland De Panne, for instance, invested since 1999 95,3 million euros in its park. For its 15th birthday, Plopsaland was rewarded with some novelties such as the impressive Castle of Prinsessia and the opening of Plopsaqua, also existing attractions were given a new look. Many novelties are still coming.
For instance Heidi The Ride, a brand-new wooden coaster, which opens in Plopsaland De Panne this summer. It is the second wooden roller coaster in Belgium and in addition, the rst wooden roller coaster ever for Plopsa. The coaster will let you rage at a speed of more than 70 kilometers an hour over the wooden rails. The wooden coaster is called after the famous character Heidi. A new theme zone ‘Heidiland’ will be built around the wooden coaster afterwards.
The nal phase in the masterplan of making Plopsaland De Panne an all-weather and all-season destination, is the construction of the Plopsa Hotel. The hotel is scheduled to open its doors at the end of 2017. The very rst Plopsa Hotel will comprise 120 rooms, including several themed suites. The hotel will be located next to Plopsaland De Panne.
Plopsaland De Panne
Plopsaland De Panne has been a permanent xture for more than 15 years in Belgium, which is proved by the growing number of visitors. The theme park welcomed 1,3 million visitors in 2015. Furthermore, the park was lately awarded as ‘Best Theme Park of Belgium’ and ‘Most Child-friendly Theme Park of Belgium’. Also Anubis The Ride, our newest roller coaster, was elected as ‘Best Rollercoaster’ of 2015. The park covers 10 theme zones, more than 50 attractions, and it keeps expanding. Plopsaland De Panne aims to become an all-weather destination, the opening of indoor Mayaland and the Plopsa Theater certainly contribute to these plans. As well as Plopsaqua, which is always opened. Rain or shine! Fun fact: Plopsaland De Panne is the only Belgian theme park that opens its doors during winter. During these few weeks, Plopsaland is turned into winterwonderland with lots of camp res, Christmas trees, lights and an ice rink. After this event, the park takes a short break and closes until the start of the new season at the beginning of the Eastern holidays.

Plopsa Indoor Hasselt
Because of the success of Plopsaland De Panne, plans grew to open a second theme park in Belgium. In 2005, the first indoor theme park opened in Hasselt, namely Plopsa Indoor Hasselt. The park has 25 spectacular and safe attractions, a small outside area and is larger than two football elds! Little ones live their rst big adventure, while mom, dad and the rest of the family may participate or take a break at the Studio 100 Café or spacious outdoor terrace.
Plopsa Coo
2005 was a successful year for Plopsa Group, as not only Plopsa Indoor Hasselt opened its doors, Plopsa Group also took over the Walloon park Télécoo, right next to Coo Waterfalls. A year later, Plopsa decided to rename the park as Plopsa Coo. The park o ers both the young and the old a delightful combination of nature and adventure. In this beautiful park in the Amblève valley, you may enjoy about 20 attractions for the whole family. Dare to take a ride at our latest addition, the exiting water attraction Dino Splash that opened in 2015!
Plopsa Indoor Coevorden
Plopsa is a hit in Belgium, and the group decides to expand its roots and go abroad. The Dutch city of Coevorden is enriched with a second Plopsa indoor park. Plopsa Indoor Coevorden opens its doors for the rst time in 2010. The park o ers 25 magical themed attractions and gives children the opportunity to experience their rst big adventure. Besides, all Studio 100-heroes can’t wait to meet everyone! Also enjoy daily shows, Meet & Greets with all the gures and a real confetti dance.
Holiday Park
Also in 2010, Plopsa Group took over the German Holiday Park right next to Mannheim. The park is a xture in Germany and celebrates this year its 45th anniversary. The family park o ers more than 30 attractions, in this way it may please the young as well as the old. Our latest addition, Sky Fly, makes you feel like a real pilot. Not exciting enough yet? Plopsaqua
Last year, Plopsa opened the very rst water theme park of Plopsa, located next to Plopsaland De Panne! Let Vic the Viking take you to a brand new adventure in a magical snowy landscape, along with breathtaking attractions such as the wonderful Wild River, the overwhelming Storm Bath and the six impressive slides. And who dares a ride at the spectacular Sky Drop, the highest (19 meters!) slide of Belgium? Plopsaqua was immediately a hit, the opening of more theme water parks in the future is on its way!
